CITY OF BISBEE
PUBLIC HEARING
On February 4, 2020 at 5:30 p.m., there will be a Public Hearing at City Hall Council Chambers located at 915 S. Tovreaville Rd., Bisbee, Arizona. This hearing is for the purpose of possible consideration regarding a project for which financial assistance is being sought by the City of Bisbee. This monetary assistance is being requested from the U.S. Department of Transportation under the Federal Transit Administration for the bi-annual 5311 Grant Program. Grant funds will be used to continue to manage and operate the City of Bisbee/Bisbee Bus transit system serving the City of Bisbee and Naco, Arizona and the inter-city service with the Cochise Connections bus to Palominas and Sierra Vista. Additional capital funds may be requested to be used to purchase a new bus and other equipment to support the Transit system. 

At this hearing the City of Bisbee will afford an opportunity for interested person or agencies to be heard with respect to the social, economic, and environment aspects of the project. Interested persons may submit oral or written evidence and recommendations with respect to said project.

A copy of the bi-annual draft grant proposal will be available for public inspection at City Hall Council Chambers. Please contact Jesus Haro, Public Works Director for further information at 520-432-6002 at least 24 hours before the meeting.
