Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Job Foreman with a specialty in Horse Training to join our team at Kimble Ranches LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and training horses, supervising ranch staff and maintaining ranch facilities and equipment to ensure the overall efficiency and profitability of the ranch.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement horse training programs to achieve ranch goals. Train horses for various purposes, including ranch work, riding and competition. Manage and supervise staff delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed. Oversee the care and maintenance of horses including feeding, breeding and health management. Maintain ranch facilities and equipment ensuring they’re in good working order and safe for use. Monitor and manage ranch resources including land water and feed. Collaborate with ranch owner to develop long-term strategies and goals for ranch. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including animal welfare and environmental standards. Prepare and manage budgets for horse training and related activities tracking expenses and reporting financial performance. Develop relationship with vendors suppliers and other industry professionals. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in horse training and ranch management. In-depth knowledge of horse behavior, training and techniques and health care. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
