Two fires within hours apart were reported on the Bisbee Hillside along Highway 80 across from Spring Canyon last week.

The first fire, the Warren Hill fire, was reported on Wednesday, April 30 at 2:54 a.m. Bisbee Fire Chief Jim Richardson said fire fighters responded and were able to put out the fire containing about a quarter of an acre.

Richardson then said a few hours later at 7:55 a.m. firefighters were called to another fire area close to the vicinity of the first one. He said a second fire had been started along the hillside.
