Last week’s mayor and city council regular session meeting on September 15 included a presentation by the Arizona Water Company (AWC) detailing the launch of “Not a Drop to Waste,” a program focusing on water conservation efforts for the City of Bisbee.
The initiative – a partnership between AWC (the Cochise division), the City of Bisbee and University of Arizona Cooperative Extension’s Water Wise program – officially launched on July 31, with ads on Facebook and YouTube, as well as a website, pre-campaign survey, print material promotion, implementation strategy guide, landing page, logo, and launch video.
Representing AWC, Frank Cabello, division manager of Cochise County – Bisbee and Sierra Vista, was joined by AWC’s water conservation administrator, Raluca Mihalcescu, and Caitlin Brady, a team member from the Water Wise program.
