Bisbee-born Community Contributor Celebrating August Anniversaries

As a daughter of two Mexican immigrants – who made Bisbee their home decades ago – Brenda Morales has built her life in this community, just as her parents did. Her father, Felipe Villa, is from Naco, Sonora, and her mother, Elvia Villa, is from Los Mochis, Sinaloa.

“They are the best example I’ve had of hard work and family,” said Morales.

Her parents passed down a work ethic and a giving heart that have translated into Morales serving the Bisbee community for several years (and counting). Since she graduated from Bisbee High School (BHS) in 1995 and received her paraprofessional (teacher’s aide) certificate from Cochise College in 1997, she has been a top contributor to the community.
