Whether you are walking either up or down Main Street, you won’t miss the big blue building at 94 Main Street that previously housed the local radio station, KBRP-LP, 96.1 FM, from 2016-2020. What started as an escape from the craziness of the COVID-19 pandemic, San Diego resident, Michael Stefaun, bought the building in January of 2021.

A little over two years ago, and after hours of traveling back and forth between San Diego to remodel the building, he opened what is now the Bisbee Royale, featuring Café Royale Wine Bar, Dragon Sports Bar and House Royale Theater, where the upcoming 2nd Annual Royale Film Festival will be taking place every Friday-Sunday in May.

Stefaun, who was born in Sacramento, California and moved a lot as a child (eventually going to the same high school for four years in Colonial Heights, Virginia, where he graduated), has owned a construction company in San Diego since 1998.
