The process to move forward with finding a city manager is now expected to begin mid-May.

Mayor Ken Budge said at the regular meeting of the city council last week the city is entering a very busy time and suggested the timeline for finding a new city manager start in mid-May.

In February the city hired the Duffy Group out of Phoenix and at that time the city proposed to start the search in April, but Mayor Budge said he wanted the public to know the recruitment will now begin in May given the amount of meetings scheduled over the next few weeks including budget meetings.
