The city is considering a new location for a Bisbee Visitor Center on Main St. after receiving a proposition from the Bisbee Restoration Museum board of directors.

According to information in a letter to Bisbee City Manager Stephen Pauken and Mayor Ken Budge the Bisbee Restoration Museum board of directors offered to transfer the title of the fair building located at 37 Main St. to the city to use a portion of the building as a visitor center.

According to the letter the board was unanimous in support of the concept of the city setting up a visitor center in that location. The letter states, “We look forward to a discussion clarifying how the museum would be operated once the city has ownership.
