The Bisbee City Council approved the first reading of an ordinance that would establish a tourism marketing advisory committee.
The council passed the first reading of Ordinance O-26-19, establishing a tourism marketing advisory committee and defining its purpose, membership and duties.
According to information in the ordinance, the tourism board, “will serve in a strictly advisory capacity to the mayor and council regarding tourism marketing initiatives, strategies, and promotion of Bisbee as a visitor destination.
