County Withdraws Petition For Review In Jail Tax Lawsuit

The Cochise County Board of Supervisors (BOS) met for a special board meeting last week to discuss and give direction to their attorney regarding the county jail district tax lawsuit currently before the Arizona Supreme Court.

Supervisors Tom Crosby, Kathleen Gomez and Frank Antenori, unanimously voted to withdraw the county’s petition for review in the jail district tax lawsuit currently before the Arizona Supreme Court filed by Cochise County residents who claimed the May 2023 all mail election disenfranchised voters.
