As the Copper Queen Community Hospital (CQCH) is just about to celebrate its 141st birthday, they have witnessed several achievements, additions and advancements within their system.
Over this past year, they launched the Rural Health Navigator Program (in collaboration with the Benson Hospital), refurbished the radiology department in Bisbee, opened a physical therapy clinic in Douglas, and expanded the rural health clinic and the laboratory and Quickcare services in Douglas.
They also added four primary care physicians (Jimmy Franco, DO; Anna Moga, MD; Radu Moga; MD, Justin Wyatt Gause, MD) and four service lines (pulmonary medicine, urology, women’s health, counseling services). And with a focus on adding more services for the community, they are also looking forward to starting another expansion in Bisbee. Although they have hit some recent roadblocks in funding, they remain steadfast in their vision to enhance the rural healthcare experience in the community.
