Three Bisbee firefighters were honored last week with lifesaving medals for their actions on a call in December of 2024.
Firefighter/EMT Ariel Urquijo and Firefighter/CEP Robert Chavez received lifesaving medals On June 4, 2025, at Bisbee Fire station at FS81 from Mayor Ken Budge and Fire Chief Jim Richardson. The awards were recommended by Lt. Michael Bidon. Firefighter/EMT Sergio Cordova was also awarded this medal but was not available for the ceremony.
