Governor Katie Hobbs announced $8 million in Rural Infrastructure Projects have been awarded to include funds for Bisbee’s Wastewater Treatment facility.
According to a press release Bisbee was awarded $253,500 for Wastewater Treatment facilty upgrades to the nearly 20-year-old plant which is in need of critical system improvements. The city will match the grant with $338,350 in funding for the upgrades.
