For eight-year principal of Lowell Junior High School, Laura Miller, she couldn’t be prouder of the faculty and staff at the school for receiving their first ever “A” letter grade from the Arizona Department of Education’s annual comprehensive school report card system for grades K-8.
This is an exciting moment for Miller and everyone at the school, which has been in the making for over five years. Previously, the school had upgraded from a “C” school to a “B” school, where they held steady for five years before earning the top grade this year.
