The Bisbee City Council approved a short-term Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Southeastern Arizona Governments Organization (SEAGO) to provide technical assistance in preparing the city’s 2026 federal budget request for the grants to operate the city bus.
Bisbee Public Works Director Matt Gurney said the short-term MOU was necessary in order to get assistance with preparing paperwork and figures for the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) 2026 grant cycle which provides funds for the operation of the Bisbee Bus.
Gurney said once this was completed the city would seek to enter into a longer-term MOU with SEAGO but for now their assistance was needed immediately for documents due next month……read full story (online subscribers only)
