No arrest has been made in the case of a 27-year-old Sierra Vista man involved in an officer involved shooting on Naco Highway, that caused a shelter in place alert for residents near the area since the suspect remains hospitalized.
The man who has yet to be have been filed was taken to a Tucson hospital on June 19 after suffering gunshot wounds from officers who returned fire after the man shot at pursuing law enforcement.
Mayor Ken Budge said the funds will defiantly assist in the community. Budge said that it was important for the city to include the organizations that already provide food.
