The Bisbee City Council addressed concerns about last year’s Pride event at a regular session of the mayor and council on May 6, as they were discussing approval of park facilty right of way use permits for the upcoming Pride Weekend events in June.
Councilmember Mel Sowid and owner of Bisbee Bodega in Old Bisbee, said he received complaints from several local business owners after last year’s pride event about the decline of business that weekend as well as the lack of parking.
