Repairs are underway at the Warren Ballpark, the first in 70 years to the historic landmark.

Bisbee Unified School District Superintendent Bryan Bullington said with a $30,000 donation from the Friends of The Warren Ballpark, the $63,000 project is underway to make the field safer. “We need to return the field to a safe place to play ball.”

He added the repairs will be completed in time for Spring 2025 baseball season. He also said he is aware of upcoming events scheduled at the ballpark and that the district is working on a plan to accommodate the events given the ball field area will be fenced off to protect the repairs and seeding.
