Resolution-26-17 to transfer $100,000 from Capital Improvement, originally transferred from bed budget, for the shared use path Lavender Pit east segment approved by a vote of four to two at the June 2 city council meeting will be rescinded and would have to come back for a vote again once there is a full seven-member council.
Interim City Manager Ashlee Coronado confirmed Tuesday morning after conferring with City Attorney Joe Estes that per the city charter the vote requires a 5/7 council vote to approve any change in the allocation of funds.
Coronado said the agenda item could come back to council for approval once there is a seven-member council. Currently there is one vacant seat after the resignation of Councilmember Lori Reynolds, effective June 1.
