A Cochise County Supervisor who went against legal advice to not canvas the 2022 General Election results has filed a $300,000 notice of claim (NOC) against Cochise County seeking reimbursement for legal fees.

According to the NOC filed June 9 on behalf of Supervisor Tom Crosby by Attorney Dennis Wilenchik, Crosby is seeking “indemnification for legal fees expended for what his lawyer is calling “wrongful criminal prosecution against him related to the November 2022, General Election in which he claims he acted within the scope of his duties as an elected official.
