After Cochise County Board of Supervisors Kathleen Gomez and Frank Antenori retreated to executive session at a special meeting Friday, June 20 for direction on the Notice of Claim (NOC) recently filed by fellow Supervisor Tom Crosby the pair emerged and voted to hire Tucson based attorney Mick NOCRusing for legal advice on the $300,000 NOC.
Supervisor Tom Crosby recused himself from the special meeting.
Rusing will be retained to provide legal advice to Gomez and Antenori on the legal options going forward to address the NOC, in which Crosby is seeking reimbursement for his legal fees incurred from when his and former Supervisor Peggy Judd went against legal advice from Cochise County Attorney Office to not canvas the 2022 General Election results…..read full story (online subscribers only)
