As of press time, the Cochise County Elections Department was still in the process of tabulating ballots from the November 5 election after trouble with the tabulators.

According to information from the county as of 5:06 p.m., Monday, November 11, Cochise County has tabulated a total of 38,737 ballots in the ongoing election process. An additional 18, 769 early ballots remain to be processed and counted. In addition, there are approximately 3,032 ballots at the Recorder’s Office awaiting signature verification.

On November 8, the county issued a press release regarding reported tabulation troubleshooting stating the issue with the tabulators was related to a feeding tray malfunction and not the tabulating process itself.
